Dr. Amir Jamshidnezhad, Associate Professor of the Health Information Technology Department at the School of

Paramedical Sciences, has taken on the role of Dean of the School starting from February 2025.

Job Description of the Dean:

1. Managing the design and implementation of the college's short-term and long-term strategic plans.

2. Overseeing educational, research, student-cultural, and administrative-financial affairs, addressing obstacles and problems in each area, and

taking steps to enhance the college.

3. Supervising the proper execution of the job duties of academic departments, faculty members, and staff of the college.

4. Striving for the academic and practical development of faculty members, staff, and students.

5. Communicating with university authorities to follow up on matters related to the college.

Research Interests:

- Artificial intelligence in medicine
- Computer-aided medical decision support systems
- Predictive systems especially for modeling of drugs and supplementary therapy
- Optimization techniques for medical information systems
- D-health, E-organization and smart method in Telemedicine
